On Monday Night Football, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith has been a special kind of horrendous. Smith is consistently talked about as a game manager, and against the Green Bay Packers, that would be a massive compliment.

In the middle of the third quarter, Smith is 5-of-11 for 50 yards without a touchdown or an interception. Incredibly, that stat line does not do Smith’s awful play justice. While Smith has been under siege much of the evening, there have been ample attempts to throw and Smith refuses.

Here is how Twitter feels about Smith:

We interrupt this Twitter hatred because Smith threw a disastrous interception to Sam Shields despite Albert Wilson being open behind him for a potential gain of about 70. Back to the hate.

You get the point. Maybe Andy Reid should give Chase Daniel a chance.
