Martin O’Malley seems to think that Joe Flacco is an elite quarterback

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has become a major source of debate when it comes to arguing whether a quarterback is elite or not. This has become a popular argument since he led the Ravens to a Super Bowl victory in the 2012 season, and even political figures are now chiming in with their opinions.

Former Maryland governor and current Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley is the second person from the political world to say that Flacco is indeed an elite quarterback.

Republican nomination frontrunner Donald Trump was the first political figure to reveal his opinion that Flacco is elite.

Flacco has often been criticized for his lack of standout statistics and lackluster performance in the regular season, but it is hard to argue with his playoff success. The Ravens quarterback has already won 10 playoff games while putting together a historic Super Bowl run in 2012, as he threw 11 touchdown passes with zero interceptions during the 2013 playoffs.

He also had a solid 2014 season that consisted of 27 touchdown passes against 12 interceptions with 3,986 passing yards. Flacco has never had a standout receiving corps, and he was forced to play with a new running back corps last season due to Ray Rice’s infamous domestic violence incident.
