The 2015 MLB free agent class is strong at the top, but teams may be able to find some bargains at the bottom.

With the World Series in the rearview mirror and the MVP Awards soon to be announced, the MLB offseason is finally about to really get going. Many of the top free agents should be signing in the coming weeks, with the winter meetings beginning on December 6 in Nashville.

This has the potential to be one of the most exciting offseason periods in recent memory. A trio of ace-level starting pichers in David Price, Zack Greinke and Johnny Cueto will generate plenty of interest at the top, while position players like Jason Heyward and Yoenis Cespedes are also in line for huge contracts.

The usual high-payroll teams like the Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers will be in the mix for all of those top free agents. Given the fact that next year’s class looks relatively week in comparison, bidding for those players could get particularly crazy.

However, a number of potential bargains are available on the market for those teams who can’t afford such large contracts. The class is very deep in particular at the starting pitcher and outfield positions, so smaller market clubs with needs there could be in luck.

From bounce back candidates who could turn things around to players coming off injury-plagued seasons, these 10 MLB free agents could help teams for a very reasonable price.
