Antonio Brown is one of the NFL’s best receivers, but he’s doing Thanksgiving all wrong

It seems as if Antonio Brown is breaking records every time the Pittsburgh Steelers step on the field. The prolific wide receiver is a monster in the NFL that truly might be uncontainable. Whether he’s performing as a possession receiver or a big-play threat, he’s doing so effectively for Pittsburgh. Being a good receiver doesn’t mean that you’re good at Thanksgiving, though.

Talking with Jeremy Fowler of ESPN while Fowler was in Pittsburgh with NFL Live, Brown offered arguably the worst Thanksgiving meal advice that anyone in history has ever given:

That’s two separate courses of the meal, Antonio! Why in the name of everything sacred and good would you even imagine combining those two things? Mac-and-cheese is delicious. Sweet potato pie is delectable. But in no way should those two dishes ever be mixed.

Brown is likely going to be feasting in Week 12 as the Steelers take on a Cleveland Browns team that’s likely going to be without cornerback Joe Haden. However, it wouldn’t be a shock if his combination of mac-and-cheese and sweet potato pie ultimately slowed him down in Sunday. You don’t suggest and consume that kind of atrocity and walk away unscathed.
