Wisconsin Badgers running back Corey Clement could be in trouble after being cited with two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from an incident on November 12th. Wisconsin has released a statement today about the incident after he was cited.

From WKOW:

"We were informed yesterday by Madison Police that Corey Clement was cited for two counts of disorderly conduct for his role in an incident on Nov. 8. When we first became aware of this incident, we knew this was a possibility. We released a statement regarding Corey’s involvement in the incident on Nov. 12 in response to false information that was circulating. That statement was based off of information that we had at that time. With the release of the full police report today, further details on the incident have come to light. Any disciplinary measures taken by UW head coach Paul Chryst relating to this incident are undetermined at this time and will be handled internally"

The Univeristy of Wisconsin originally released a statement on November 12th that suggested that Clement was a victim in a fight.

From WKOW:

"According to the release, Clement was returning to his apartment building when he witnessed a dispute between a security guard and a group of people. Clement stepped in to the dispute. According to UW, Clement and the security guard were then assaulted by the individuals."

Upon reviewing the security video, the police found out that Clement had thrown the first punch and was not defending himself or the security guard as Clement had claimed. It remains to be seen if Corey Clement will be further disciplined. He has not played since late September after undergoing a sports hernia surgery.
