Joseph Randle was arrested outside of a Kansas City casino on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

KWCH Eyewitness News reports that former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested outside of the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kansas for assaulting an officer outside of the gambling establishment.

It has not been a great couple of months for Randle. From being the starting running back for the supposedly Super Bowl contending Dallas Cowboys at the beginning of the season to being released from the club in early November, Joseph Randle, like his former employer, is in free fall.

The Tuesday night arrest stems from Randle being reportedly “too drunk” at the Kansas Star Casino and being asked to leave the gambling establishment. Randle didn’t cooperate, spit on the floor, and then assaulted a casino security officer. He was booked for “felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, battery, disorderly conduct, and trespass.”

TMZ reports that Joseph Randle is being held on $25,000 bail.

Jim Rome joked about how long it will take before Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones decides to bring back Randle to the team. This obviously pokes fun at Jones’ unwavering support of defensive end Greg Hardy and his past domestic violence issues.

Randle needs some help if he wants to get back in the NFL. Teams will put up with acts of indiscretion if the talent is there, but he’s racking up a laundry list of indiscretions making it harder and harder for teams to take a flier.
