The rivalry continues this Thursday as the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers matchup Thanksgiving night.

The Packers are coming off of the big win against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, solidifying their current dominance on the NFC North. The Bears, on the other hand, have had a typical Bears season-the Jay Cutler roller coaster ride. Every week there is a big question mark surrounding Cutler and what he is going to bring.

This is the second matchup of these rivals, with the first coming on opening weekend. The Packers took care of business in the first game, winning 31-23. Aaron Rodgers shined in the first matchup with a QBR of 94.4 with only five incompletions and three touchdown darts.

Jay Cutler was pretty bad in the first matchup with a QBR of 29.6, one touchdown, and one interception. Matt Forte had 24 carries 141 yards and one touchdown.

With a win the Packers are firmly in control of their own destiny and have a great shot at winning the division. If the Bears were to win, they certainly are not out of the playoff picture and could be sneaky down the stretch.

The 7-3 and 4-6 records are meaningless when these two team’s matchup, as rivalries bring out the best in every team and defy all logic. Expect to see a closer game that could have implications down the stretch in the NFC North.
