The Eagles were being humiliated on Thanksgiving Day and Troy Aikman just had to throw this shade in there

The Philadelphia Eagles did not have the best time in Detroit on Thursday. Alright, actually, it was about the worst possible Thanksgiving scenario for this struggling team, as the Lions just had their way with them throughout the contest. When it was all said and done, the Lions came away with a 45-14 win and the Eagles now have more soul searching to do.

Yes, it pretty much goes without saying that the Eagles are down and they’re in a bad way. So, you would think that it’s maybe not necessary to kick these guys when they’re down like this.

Well, that doesn’t really go for former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.

With the game being on FOX, Aikman was broadcasting the game with Joe Buck, and at one point during the beating, Aikman threw in this bit of shade at his former rivals.

Well, I mean …  he’s not really wrong here. If you are a member of the Eagles at this point, it has become kind of embarrassing with the way that things have played out on the field the past few weeks.
