The Iowa Hawkeyes are undefeated in the regular season and the internet has some thoughts about that

Prior to the college football season getting underway this year, there were a lot of teams that we all assumed might finish the regular season undefeated. However, one of those teams was certainly not the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Yet, after their win over Nebraska on the road Friday, that is exactly where we’re at now here in the end of November. Iowa will go play in the Big Ten title game next week and they will do so without having suffered a loss thus far.

After years of Iowa really being the butt of a lot of jokes, especially when it comes to the Big Ten, they are one of the best teams in the country. Well, record-wise, at least.

With this being the case, the internet was abuzz with the reactions after Kirk Ferentz and his boys finished the undefeated journey through the regular season at 12-0.

Well, we’ll see after next weekend whether or not any of these tunes change.
