Ndamukong Suh may have made a few enemies in the Dolphins locker room after a brutally honest speech.

Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has been quite the controversial figure in the past few years, as he has been in trouble for making dirty plays such as stomping players from the Green Bay Packers. He has since left the Detroit Lions though and signed a six-year, $114 million contract with the Dolphins.

His first year in Miami has not gone smoothly though, and the Dolphins defense had a day they will want to forget in a 38-20 loss to the New York Jets. According to Bleacher Report, Suh indicated that he is in charge of the Dolphins defense before this loss.

"“I run this defense, I’m going to be here for the next five years, there is no guarantee any of you will be as well. Only a handful of guys are good enough to play with me right now,” Suh allegedly said to his teammates."

NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport relayed these comments, and he also revealed that the Dolphins had a mixed reaction to Suh’s speech. His comments are sure to rub even more players the wrong way since the Dolphins had another poor defensive performance. Suh previously became the center of controversy in September, as he allegedly ignored the playbook and did his own thing during plays. This threw off the Dolphins’ rhythm, which caused them to struggle.

The Dolphins have already suffered negative consequences from signing Suh, as they invested their future in him. While Suh continues to be one of the most feared defensive tackles in the NFL, he has not made enough of a difference to make the Dolphins playoff contenders. Their record now sits at a disappointing 4-7.
