Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly interested in a move to the MLS with David Beckham’s new team.

Things are all change at Real Madrid. After Rafa Benitez was sacked, and then replaced by Real legend Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo could now be on the way out as well. Ronaldo is reportedly eyeing up a move to Florida when his career begins to wind down, and David Beckham’s new Miami team would offer him such an opportunity. Whether Ronaldo would move to America is another question, but it would be undoubtedly exciting see him in the States.

Ronaldo has been one of the best players in world football over the past decade or so, and would be a major coup for the MLS. The national soccer league is increasing in popularity and quality year on year, with ex-Premier League stars moving across the pond more and more. Thierry Henry was one of the first big names to move, along with David Beckham, and they have now been joined by players such as Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.

It now looks as though Ronaldo may well look to end his outstanding career in the States as well. Beckham has made no secrets of his desire to bring some big name players to Miami, and there aren’t many bigger than Ronaldo. The former teammates would create a dynamic pair, and it would certainly be exciting to see them in the MLS. Seeing Ronaldo work his magic is a mouthwatering prospect, even if it would be in the twilight of his career. Let’s just hope Beckham can pull it off.
