The Carolina Panthers trolled Rainn Wilson and his character Dwight Schrute after their playoff win over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Carolina Panthers are going to the NFC Championship after holding off a furious rally from the Seattle Seahawks at home on Sunday.

After the game, the Panthers decided to troll some naysayers that didn’t give them any chance before the game on Sunday. One of those naysayers is huge Seattle Seahawks fan Rainn Wilson, who played the famous character Dwight Schrute on The Office.

On Saturday afternoon, Wilson didn’t seem to think Carolina would have a chance and asked if the league could just fast forward to what he thought was an inevitable Seahawks and New England Patriots Super Bowl.

After the Panthers won the game and sent the Seahawks packing for the season, the Panthers decided to troll Wilson and his character, by playing on the fact that Schrute was the assistant to the regional manager and not assistant regional manager.

Wilson is going to need some ice after that burn. Like many Seahawks fans and football fans that watched the team roll the past couple of months, it felt like Seattle was gearing up for another run to the Super Bowl.

Instead, they played a terrible first half against the Panthers and their season is over. The Panthers made sure to deliver one last parting shot to the very confident Wilson.
