CBC in Canada confused the Florida Panthers and Carolina Panthers

The Florida Panthers and Carolina Panthers are both having very successful seasons in their respective sports. Florida finds themselves in the midst of a playoff race and is one of the hottest teams in the NHL. Carolina will be playing the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. According to a graphic by CBC in Canada, the Florida Panthers are actually the ones in the Super Bowl!

The Cats better get ready for that. Aaron Ekblad definitely has the good looks to be a good quarterback. Roberto Luongo could match up against any receiver and distract them from their game by making them laugh hysterically. Jaromir Jagr might be old but he can still run a solid slant route, right? Jonathan Huberdeau is extremely fast so he’d make defenses respect him as a deep threat. Get ready, Florida.

On the other hand, Carolina better get ready because they’ve got some games coming up. Cam Newton and P.K. Subban are so similar, Newton could be a great defenseman and he’d be the master of trash talking as well. Could you imagine if Newton scores? Dabbing on ice. Josh Norman could be the pest who trash talks you while he’s kicking your butt.

Graphic fails are very common, but rarely do you see a station in Canada confuse an NHL team with an NFL team.
