Andre Drummond and Kristaps Porzingis are going at it against each other, with both of them exchanging spin moves.

Andre Drummond is making the rest of the league take notice of him with plays like this. The Knicks got to find out firsthand what it’s like to come up against one of the toughest big men to guard. As soon as he was through, everyone looked clueless, especially Kristaps Porzingis:

But Porzingis went back the other way and countered with a spin move of his own:

And that’s why they’re two of the most exciting players in the league to watch.

The game itself has been a back-and-forth contest too. After the Pistons jumped out to an 18-point lead, the Knicks clawed their way back. Despite a valiant second-half effort, particularly from Melo who fell just short of a triple-double, the Knicks came up just short but it was a great game to have on national television.

While Drummond will be going to the All-Star Game, Porzingis won’t. That’s fine because he’s already vastly exceeded expectations this season and made everyone who booed him on draft night look silly. He will get his opportunities soon but he’s already succeeded in making the Knicks a watchable team after last year.
