Before Super Bowl 50, Cam Newton got quite the nice message from Clemson’s Deshaun Watson.

We’re just hours away now from Super Bowl 50, which features the Denver Broncos taking on Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. While Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been here before, this is the first trip for Newton to the biggest football game of the entire season.

With that being the case, Newton is receiving a lot of good luck messages from friends and family as he gets set to embark on this amazing journey Sunday night, and some are a little more special than others.

You know, like if one of those messages comes from a quarterback who just played Alabama for the National Championship.

Yes, none other than Clemson Tigers quarterback Deshaun Watson took to Instagram shortly before the game to send his friend a little message.

As Watson has risen to prominence in the college ranks, Newton has taken quite a liking to him and they’ve built a nice relationship with one another. So when Newton does see this message, it’ll feel special for him.

Of course, he’ll definitely love that Watson used a dabbing picture.
