What NASCAR Sprint Cup races will be aired on FOX this year?

NASCAR and FOX have had a partnership for a long time running. While NASCAR currently splits the coverage of Sprint Cup racing between FOX and NBC, it is FOX that kicks off the season of NASCAR coverage every single year starting with the Daytona 500.

Not only does FOX air Sprint Cup racing on their main channel, they also air some races on FOX Sports 1 throughout the season. In total, there will be 18 races on the FOX networks this year, ending with the Toyota-Save Mart 350 at Sonoma.

FOX’s coverage this year will introduce the debut of Jeff Gordon in the booth. After a legendary career behind the wheel that included four championships, Gordon will now take his talents to the announce booth and show what he can do as an announcer.

With 18 races on tap including the Sprint Unlimited race and the Can-Am Duels, there will be plenty of racing coverage on FOX this season for racing fans every single week leading into the summer. Add in the addition of Jeff Gordon, and there exists a possibility of racing coverage becoming even better.
