1. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are a great organization that preaches loyalty and owner Mark Cuban has always had the greatest of respect for players in the league. The Mavericks have struck out on landing the big free agents, but they have always been an organization that veterans love playing for.

Players that join the Dallas Mavericks know that they’re going to be taken care of. If Derrick Rose is looking for a place that he knows will take care of him, pay him the money and allow him to succeed, then that destination is the Dallas Mavericks.

The odds are that Dirk Nowitzki will probably be retired by then, but who knows. Regardless, the Mavericks are going to look for some pieces to add that they can build around. Rose fits the bill of the type of player that the Mavericks would add to their roster.

Now it’s hard to project what the Mavericks roster could look like a couple of seasons from now, because they virtually have almost no commitments. That’s good and bad. It’s good for the flexibility, but it’s bad for having a roster in place and the next era of Mavericks basketball ready to go.

However, Cuban and the Mavericks will always find a way.
