1. Memphis Grizzlies

What’s the only thing better than having one Gasol on your team?

Well, having two of course!

The two brothers have played against each other for years now in the NBA, but have only played together internationally as the leaders of the Spanish national team. They’ve demonstrated their chemistry time and time again on some of the game’s greatest stages in Olympic play, so it’s not unreasonable to assume they could replicate that kind of success here in the States.

The Grizzlies as a team need to figure out their identity – they’re clearly on the outside looking in when it comes to championship contenders, and aren’t really even half the threat they used to be in the Western Conference alone. Marc Gasol is by far their best player and the future of their franchise, but beyond him and Zach Randolph there’s not a whole lot to be excited about these days if you’re a Grizzlies fan.

Can you imagine the level of hype that would accompany bringing the two brothers together on the same team? Every assist, every bucket, would have Memphis fans going nuts – not to mention NBA fans overseas in Espana. Just in marketability and advertising alone, a Gasol family reunion would mean big-time bucks for the Grizzlies.
