Jameel McKay was pretty pumped about Iowa State taking care of Iona and he celebrated on the bench

Coming into Thursday and the first round of the NCAA Tournament, one of the more popular upset picks was that of Iona taking down Iowa State. It seemed like a safe bet to a lot of people, so they put it on their bracket as a sure-fire upset.

Well, that didn’t end up happening, as Iowa State had a pretty easy time cruising to a 94-81 win and down the stretch in the second half, the Cyclones’ Jameel McKay was having a lot of fun with how his team was doing.

Just how much fun was he having? Well, he busted out this neat little dance as his team was out there on the court taking care of business, up by 12.

Well, hey, when you’re making a lot of people who picked the upset look pretty stupid, you’re allowed to do a little bit of gloating. Even if it looks a little silly, like McKay’s dance here is.

But they were able to get the win and now they will await the winner of Purdue and Arkansas-Little Rock, which will also be played on Thursday.
