The Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are best buds off the court, so of course they did a face swap for the whole world to see!

It happened. Finally, two of the National Basketball Association’s best and brightest stars in Oklahoma City Thunder teammates point guard Russell Westbrook and small forward Kevin Durant used the Face Swap feature on Snapchat.

Why? Because of course they did! They are best buds on one of the best teams in the NBA. Naturally, hilarity ensued and social media was never the same. The Thunder beat writer for the Oklahoman Anthony Slater tweeted out the Face Swap Snapchat of Durant and Westbrook late Saturday morning.

Basically what the Face Swap gave us was a glimpse as what the normally cherubic, baby-faced point guard phenomenon Westbrook would look like with Durant’s goatee and slightly gapped front-tooth smile. Westbrook’s face on Durant’s head just looks like another guy.

It seems that the dynamic Thunder duo enjoyed their brief time as Kevin Westbrook and Russell Durant. The tricky part is deciding who is who. Regardless, who would want to face off with these guys on the hardwood? It would probably yield similar results to the normal offensive onslaught from a typical Thunder basketball game.

While their on-court chemistry has at times been scrutinized, as both NBA superstars are very ball-centric players to be effective offensively, it seems that Durant and Westbrook are still having a blast hanging out with each other off the court and their very good NBA team.

Perhaps this jaw-dropping Face Swap is their way of keeping things loose before the Thunder embark on hopefully a deep Western Conference Playoffs run as the No. 3 seed behind only the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs.

While not all enjoyed the Durant/Westbrook Face Swap, at least New Zealand and mustachioed big man Steven Adams wasn’t involved in that Snapchat. Who knows what Russell Adams or Steven Westbrook would have looked like? The world may never be ready for that.
