Louis Oosthuizen made possibly the craziest hole-in-one that you’ll ever see at The Masters on Sunday

On Sunday at Augusta during the final round of The Masters, all eyes were on Jordan Spieth as the 22-year-old dominated his last round once again in his pursuit of back-to-back Green Jackets. However, at least some eyes should have been on Louis Oosthuizen on No. 16 as he hit one of the craziest holes-in-one that you’ll ever see.

Teeing off second after J.B. Holmes stuck his shot on the Par-3 close, Oosthuizen played his shot high on the famed ridge to the back of the green on No. 16. As his ball landed and began to trickle to the hole off of the ridge, it bounced right into Holmes’ ball and then deflected into the hole for the “1” on the scorecard on one of the most insane golf shots you’ll ever see:

Possibly the craziest part of all of this is that Oosthuizen’s shot almost knocks both his and Holmes’ ball into the cup off of that deflection. That’s literally the only thing that could have made this hole-in-one more wild.

That’s the beautiful thing about The Masters and the game of golf really, though. Even when you aren’t the one dominating or the one that’s going to win, all it takes is one shot to be immortalized and it feels safe to say that this hole-in-one does just that for Oosthuizen.
