Here’s a look at the game-by-game schedule for the Houston Texans in the 2016 season.

Last season, the AFC South championship went through the Lone Star State as the Houston Texans were able to bring home the divisional title and make the playoffs, where they were promptly shutdown by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round game.

Head coach Bill O’Brien will keep the team in contention in 2016 with a schedule that includes their traditional AFC South opponents (Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Tennessee) in addition to a non-divisional slate that includes home games against Kansas City, Chicago and Cincinnati and road contests including Denver, Green Bay and New England.

The Houston Texans’ 2016 schedule was released Thursday and ranks as tied for 19th toughest in the entire league. Here’s a look at who the Texans will play when the regular season kicks off in early September:

There will be plenty of new faces in the offensive backfield when the Texans take the field, as the team signed quarterback Brock Osweiler and running back Lamar Miller to big contracts from Denver and Miami, respectively. Both players are expected to help take Houston to their first AFC Championship in franchise history.
