The San Francisco 49ers’ 2016 schedule has been released and you can see it in its entirety here.

The San Francisco 49ers have been struggling in the post-Jim Harbaugh era, and it doesn’t look like things are going to get better in 2016. With the schedules being released on Thursday night, the 49ers face an uphill battle in 2016 with the toughest schedule, based on 2015 records.

The 49ers play in a tough division to start, one with contenders like the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.

To make matters worse, the 49ers have a rough non-division schedule. The New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys come to Levi’s Stadium, both teams are playoff contenders.

Then when the 49ers hit the road they face some tough opponents, like playing the Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome and the Carolina Panthers on the road.

Then they play teams like the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, who could both be good this year. They also welcome the New Orleans Saints who could be a tough opponent if Drew Brees has a bit more magic in him.

Nevertheless, things aren’t looking like they’re going to get better in 2016 for the 49ers and the Bay Area will be in for another rough year as they look to rebuild.
