Here’s when you can watch Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning.

After two tough losses at Amalie Arena, it looked like the Detroit Red Wings might bow out early in their first round playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, the Red Wings responded with an impressive 2-0 win at home on Sunday night to make things interesting heading into Game 4.

The two teams will get a day off before meeting again on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. NBCSN will carry TV coverage of Game 4, and it can also be seen on CBC and Fox Sports Detroit.

While the Red Wings looked better in every facet of the game on Sunday, the biggest key was their improved defense. After tallying 15 points in the first two games, Tampa Bay’s top line of Tyler Johnson, Alex Killorn and Nikita Kucherov didn’t make much noise in Game 3.

Helping matters was a change in goal, as Petr Mrazek took over for Jimmy Howard after an ineffective Game 2, Mrazek made 16 saves, including a number of key ones late in the game to preserve the shutout.

The Red Wings also got a spark from a pair of players who hadn’t received much ice time prior to Sunday. Andreas Athanasiou opened the scoring in the second period, while Brendan Smith set the tone with a huge hit on Cedric Paquette early on.

Of course, a game between the two emerging rivals couldn’t end without a rhubarb, as another fight broke out after the final whistle on Sunday. Expect more of the same in Game 4 of the most physical series of the first round.
