We have the full list of who the Jacksonville Jaguars selected in the 2016 NFL Draft

Here is who Jaguars GM David Caldwell selected during the 2016 NFL Draft:

Round 1 (5) Jaylen Ramsey,CB, Florida State

Round 2 (36) Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Round 3 (69) Yannick Ngakoue, DE, Maryland

Round 4 (103) Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame

Round 6 (181) Tyrone Holmes, LB, Montana

Round 6 (201) Brandon Allen, QB, Arkansas

Round 7 (226) Johnathan Woodard, DE, Central Arkansas

The Jacksonville Jaguars went into free agency with a ton of cap room and a defense that was 31st in the league. They went big game hunting and signed Malik Jackson for the defensive line. They added Prince Amukamara and Tashaun Gibson for the secondary.  They get last year’s first round pick, Dante Fowler Jr, back after tearing his ACL. It’s like having an additional draft pick. They added even more pieces in the draft.

Ramsey and Jack were two of the top rated prospects in the draft. Ramsey should start somewhere in the secondary, whether at corner or safety. If Jack is healthy, the Jags added a dynamic playmaker at the linebacker position. He could certainly be worth the trade up with the Ravens to get him.

Ngakoue is a pass rusher who should be a part of the rotation at defensive end. Day can rush the quarterback up the middle. Holmes is someone who can play the Leo position as a rusher on the outside. Woodard gives them additional depth along the line.

Allen is someone who ran a pro style offense in college. Maybe he unseats Chad Henne to backup Blake Bortles.

For the first time in a long time, the Jaguars are going to come into the 2016 season with expectations.
