Enormous turnout for Leicester City team parade
Fans from all over came to celebrate the 2016 EPL champions, Leicester City.
After winning their first ever English Premier League title and probably every bookie’s worst nightmare, Leicester City fans came out in huge numbers to support their local team winning the 2016 EPL title.
The celebration took place at Jubilee Park and welcomed fans from all over. Sky Sports was there to show an aerial view of the team on their double-decker bus, driving through the streets of Leicester.

Jamie Vardy, one of the key reasons the team were in title contention, spoke with the BBC and said, “it’s brilliant, what a day.”

The BBC also caught up with team manager Claudio Ranieri. The Italian told the news outlet: “It’s unbelievable. I can only say thank you to all the people.”

The team has had to go through a lot this season, as many pundits and soccer fans agreed that the little team from Leicester had to fail at some point. Still, they were able to beat some of the league’s best and come out on top. Now Leicester fans can rejoice in Champions League football and are celebrating like crazy around town.
