Kris Bryant wanted to get in on the power party on Friday, launching this home run clear out of Wrigley Field

Apparently, a couple members of the Chicago Cubs on Friday decided that they wanted to showcase just how much power at the plate they really have. Those two people were Jorge Soler and Kris Bryant, with Bryant being the latest to take his turn.

In the fourth inning on Friday against the Phillies, Soler hit a home run that went an estimated 461 feet and even smashed off the video board. Not to be outdone, Bryant wanted his turn.

Just one inning later, Bryant added to the Cubs’ lead by not only hitting a bomb of his own to left field, but sending the ball clear out of Wrigley Field.

This is a perfect display of just how dangerous this Cubs lineup can be when they’re clicking. This is some of the best young talent in the game of baseball and we’ve been seeing that even dating back to last season when the team went on their magical playoff run.

They keep this stuff up all season, though, then that elusive World Series ring won’t be too far off.
