Here is a look at the four team field for the Gainesville Regional in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament that kicks off this weekend.

It’s tournament time in the world of NCAA baseball as the 64 team field has been announced for the annual tournament. The regional round kicks off this weekend with 16 teams advancing to the best of three Super Regional round next weekend at sites across the country.

The 16 regional sites were announced on Sunday, with the Florida Gators getting the chance to host one on their campus in Gainesville, Florida for the 14th time in program history. The Gators, who are the top seed in the tournament, spent much of the 2016 season as one of the top teams in the country, including holding the number one ranking for most of the year, before falling in the SEC Championship Game to the Texas A&M Aggies.

The field for the Gainesville Regional, which is a double elimination tournament that can have a maximum of seven games, is as follows:

The 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament starts this weekend and concludes with the College World Series, which takes place from June 18th through the 29th in Omaha, Nebraska on the networks of ESPN.
