UC Santa Barbara Gauchos vs. Louisville Cardinals

The Louisville Cardinals have been one of the most dominant teams in all of college baseball this season, winning 50 games over the course of the year coming into their matchup against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos in the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament Super Regionals. However, the Gauchos made a statement in the first game and now UC Santa Barbara vs Louisville Game 2 will be the Cardinals fighting for their live.

In Game 1 of the Super Regionals, it was largely the pitching of the Gauchos that really spelled doom for Louisville. While the Cardinals have featured big bats in the form of Will Smith, Nick Solak, and many others all season, they couldn’t find a rhythm. Now the question is whether or not Louisville can turn the tides in the Super Regionals against UC Santa Barbara. In the meantime, the likes of Devon Gradford and the other Gauchos will be looking to keep things rolling like they did in their regional and carry it on through the Super Regionals into the College World Series.

UC Santa Barbara vs Louisville will be broadcast on ESPN2 with live streaming on WatchESPN, which can be accessed online or through the ESPN app using a cable or satellite subscription to login.
