The Cleveland Cavaliers are NBA champions (not a typo), but when is their parade to celebrate?

For the first time in decades, Cleveland is the city of champions. The prophecy of LeBron James bringing a title to the city has been fully realized with the title win on Sunday night over the Golden State Warriors.

That means the party capital of the world will be Cleveland — which is really weird to say but it’s the truth.

Cleveland is already on fire — literally — over the NBA Finals win but the real celebration won’t happen until the team arrives home from California with the Larry O’Brien trophy. That’s when the championship parade through downtown Cleveland will happen, but exactly when that party will go down is something that all Cavaliers fans want to know right now.

As of now it sounds like the Cavaliers will hold a parade in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday. At least, that’s what LeBron’s bodyguard in disguise Brian Windhorst is reporting.

After all, it’s been decades in the making, and the wait has already proven to be unbearable.
