Taking a look at who won the 2016 WWE Money in the Bank briefcase
There’s nothing quite like WWE Money in the Bank in the world of professional wrestling. In regards to the ladder match to win the briefcase, the concept of winning a contract for a title shot, and the spectacle that only the stage WWE is performed on can provide, WWE Money in the Bank stands singularly when it’s played out.
However, WWE Money in the Bank 2016 stood out even more given the tremendous talent that was in the ring trying to climb the ladder to get the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were able to continue their fierce rivalry in yet another multi-man match, but that’s not all. Cesaro was also able to put his talents on display, as was Dean Ambrose with Alberton Del Rio and Chris Jericho being the looming veteran presences.
With all of this talent and the pedigrees of the superstars involved, though, it truly felt like any of the six guys could walk out of Las Vegas with the 2016 WWE Money in the Bank briefcase. However, the question is which one of the six wound up becoming the next Mr. Money in the Bank.
After a fantastic match (what else did you expect from these competitors, it was ultimately Dean Ambrose who was able to ascend to the top of the ladder and come down with the WWE Money in the Bank contract. Now the question is when Dean Ambrose is going to cash in and just how much of a surprise it’s going to be. Could it happen before the end of the PPV or will it be somewhere down the line? We’ll find out certainly.
