NFL Sunday’s will be a lot different without Peyton Manning on the sidelines and the future Hall of Fame quarterback revealed who he’ll now be rooting for.

Peyton Manning retired in March after spending nearly half his life in the NFL after he was the No. 1 pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. Now that he’s got some free time on his hands this year, what will Peyton do on NFL Sunday’s?

Well, he’s going to be just like you or me and root for his favorite players, teams and coaches.

Naturally, the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts are his two top teams after playing for them and winning Super Bowls win both clubs. And, of course, the New York Giants are among the teams Manning will be rooting for this upcoming season because his younger brother, Eli is on the team. That’s no surprise and we’ve seen him cheer on Eli during his two Super Bowl wins with the Giants.

But some of the other teams may come as a surprise to you.

According to Conor Orr, Manning will also be rooting for the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions.

Manning will root for the Texans because that’s where his former understudy, Brock Osweiler will get a chance to be the full-time starting quarterback after signing a lucrative deal in free agency.

The Dolphins have Manning’s former offensive coordinator Adam Gase as the team’s head coach and the Lions are led by Jim Caldwell who was Manning’s coach with the Colts after Tony Dungy retired.

Speaking of former coaches, what about John Fox and the Chicago Bears?
