Kevin Durant reportedly has two teams that can lure him away from Oklahoma City Thunder. Here are five reasons that team could be the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors were able to overcome a 3-1 series deficit in the Western Conference Finals to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to the 2016 NBA Finals. Thunder star player Kevin Durant certainly took notice of how the Warriors were able to beat his team despite being down 3-1 in a best-of-seven.

As Durant hits 2016 NBA free agency, one of the teams lobbying to land the All-NBA small forward just so happens to be the Warriors. With Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli possibly taking a better offer than what the Warriors would provide in their restricted free agencies, Golden State has the financial resources to sign Durant to a maximum salary.

Signing with a team that won 73 regular season games last year will probably end up making Durant one of the most disliked players in the league by fans who think that he’s leaving a great situation in Oklahoma City to slightly improve his odds of winning an NBA Championship in 2017.

Despite how signing with the Warriors might cause irreversible damage to his brand as one of the most well-liked players in the NBA, here are five reasons that Durant could end up signing with the Warriors in 2016 NBA free agency on July 1st.
