According to a report, Cleveland Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson will play for Canada in the Olympics.

The Olympics are just around the corner and national teams around the world are finalizing their basketball rosters for the upcoming games. While much attention has been paid to what the United States is doing, not as much has been paid attention to what Canada is doing with their players that play in the NBA.
While some have opted not to play this year for fear of the Zika virus, Cleveland Cavaliers big man Tristan Thompson will partake in the Olympics, according to cleveland.com’s Chris Haynes and Chris Fedor.
"CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson will play for the Canadian National Team with the hopes of qualifying for the Olympics in Brazil this summer, league sources informed cleveland.com."
While not the powerhouse of the other countries that will be competing, Thompson is a big addition to his team and yet another NBA player to keep an eye on while watching the Olympics this year.
While LeBron James won’t be playing for the United States, Kyrie Irving will, so mark that down as another Cavalier going.
