Identifying the top high salary and value shortstop plays from around Major League Baseball for your June 29 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Francisco Lindor, Indians (5,100): The switch-hitting Lindor has eight hits over his last four games, including a pair of home runs. The Indians are red-hot, having won 11 straight, so it comes as little surprise that Lindor has hit double digits in fantasy points in four straight games. He’s a solid play Wednesday against Atlanta Braves rookie right-hander Joel De La Cruz.

Carlos Correa, Astros (4,800): Correa is coming off a monster 32-fantasy point performance Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Angels, and he could keep that momentum going Wednesday against Jered Weaver (6-6, 5.24 ERA). Correa is 3-for-8 with a home run in his career against Weaver.

High Value

Jordy Mercer, Pirates (3,600): Mercer has gone hitless in his last two games after stringing together an 11-game hitting streak. He has a good chance to start a new streak Wednesday against Seattle Mariners lefty Wade Miley (6-3, 5.28 ERA). Mercer is 3-for-6 in his career against Miley and is hitting .304 against lefties this season. He’s a solid value play.

Cristhian Adames, Rockies (3,400): Adames has had a nice series against Toronto so far, going 3-for-7 with a double in the first two games. He’s hitting .394 at the friendly confines of Coors Field this season, and he’s hitting nearly 60 points higher against right-handers than he is against left-handers. Adames and the Rockies should be able to put up some runs against Aaron Sanchez (7-1, 3.24 ERA).
