With the Golden State Warriors landing Kevin Durant in free agency, it meant that some of their own free agents were suddenly free to sign elsewhere and see what is out there. Harrison Barnes went to Dallas and now Festus Ezeli could be on the move as well.

According to Marc J. Spears, Ezeli met with the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

The Trail Blazers are in need of a center and adding depth has been an absolute must for them. They tried to get in on some of the big name centers in free agency, but weren’t able to land any of them.

Ezeli wouldn’t be a bad cheaper option and certainly brings plenty of experience to the Warriors. His offense is limited, but he brings great energy to the floor and would fit in nicely with what Portland is trying to do.

We’re entering the part of free agency where smaller moves are made and this certainly would be one of them.
