Big 12 mascots had a little fun during Media Days as those from schools like Texas, TCU, Baylor and more decided to “Whip and Nae Nae.”

It hasn’t exactly been a Media Days event to remember for the Big 12 and the people at it. From commissioner Bob Bowlsby’s outrageous comments were he seemed to almost justify sexual assault on college campuses to new Baylor head coach Jim Grobe saying there isn’t a problem with the culture at Baylor, there have been plenty of things said that people wish had not taken place.

So to lighten the mood and realize that the conference isn’t all that bad when there isn’t a microphone in front of people who can speak, we present to you mascots from Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech getting together to “Whip and Nae Nae” like it’s 2014 all over again:

Aside from the fact that the Texas Tech mascot looks like me at a Bar Mitzvah and a wedding in the last month, it’s good to see that representatives from the conference can do the right thing and not cause trouble — as long as it’s the ones who actually can’t open their mouths.

It was also maybe the positive thing from Tuesday’s session, as it appears the conference is going to table any expansion talk for several years, meaning we will continuing having 10 teams in a conference called the Big 12. The league seems to be in no rush to expand now that the NCAA said they could still have a conference championship game at the end of the year.
