Colts’ Arthur Jones Suspended four games

In what has been a day full of controversy, another NFL player faces turmoil as the Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman faces a suspension.
Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman Arthur Jones has been suspended for four games after violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing drugs (PEDs), according to multiple reports.
This just another unfortunate twist in Art Jones deal for the Indianapolis Colts and general manager Ryan Grigson. Since signing with Indianapolis in the summer of 2014, Jones has only played in nine of the team’s 32 regular-season games. In the 2015 preseason, Jones broke his ankle and was sidelined for the entire season.
One aspect that makes Jones’ suspension even more intriguing is the fact that he is the brother to UFC fighter Jon “Bones” Jones, who was banned from fighting in UFC 200 after testing positive for two substances considered banned by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. The Jones family does have one athlete who has not been suspended this month for PEDs; Chandler Jones, who plays for the Arizona Cardinals.
As for Arthur Jones, the defensive lineman will miss the Colts’ first four games, which include a crucial matchup in Denver against the defending Super Bowl champion Broncos, and the team’s trip to London for the NFL’s International Series against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jones will, however, be allowed to attend training camp and play in the Colts’ preseason games, if the team does not choose to release the player.
