Identifying the top high salary and value outfielder plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 22 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Mookie Betts, Red Sox (5,200): Make it back-to-back games with three hits and 20-plus DK points for Betts, who continues to dominate atop Boston’s potent lineup. Look for Betts to stay hot Friday against Minnesota Twins right-hander Kyle Gibson (2-6, 5.12 ERA). Betts is 1-for-3 against Gibson in his career and is hitting .318 against righties this season.

Bryce Harper, Nationals (5,100): After delivering an MVP season in the age of 22, fantasy owners can’t help but feel disappointed with Harper’s season to date (.250, 20 HRs, 55 RBIs). However, he’s already hit four home runs in July, topping his June total (three). Fifteen of his 20 homers have come against right-handers, so he’s a strong play Friday against San Diego Padres righty Luis Perdomo (3-4, 7.36 ERA).

High Value

Ryan Braun, Brewers (3,600): Braun’s salary rarely dips below the 4,000 mark, so his Friday price tag represents a nice discount. The former National League MVP is 8-for-23 with a double and two home runs in his career against Chicago Cubs right-hander Jason Hammel (8-5, 3.34 ERA). The Cubs are favored in Friday’s matchup, but expect Braun to do some damage at home.

Kevin Pillar, Blue Jays (3,200): Pillar hasn’t homered since June 16, but his game isn’t predicated on power. Getting hits, stealing bases, scoring runs — that’s what Pillar brings to the table. He’s hitting .294 against left-handers this season, so the matchup with Seattle Mariners southpaw James Paxton (2-4, 4.56 ERA) is a solid one.
