Could Fight Club be returning to the big screen? The 1999 cult classic film starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton is beloved by many, who would absolutely want to see a sequel be made.
According to reports, Brad Pitt is all in to star in a Fight Club sequel, but there is one big problem. His co-star, Edward Norton, isn’t on board. Radar Online reveals that Brad has allegedly been “begging” Edward to return to the franchise for another film.
"“[Brad Pitt is] determined to convince his old costar and pal Edward Norton to revive their mega-hit with an exciting new sequel. Ed’s much happier with his low-key life these days and he doesn’t need the money, so it was a big effort for Brad to get him to even consider it.”"
Talk of a Fight Club sequel began after the comic book sequel was published last year. Although Norton doesn’t seem thrilled about the idea of returning to the spotlight, Pitt reportedly has convinced his friend ready to at least hear out director David Fincher about how a second film may look.
"“Studios are jumping all over it, desperate to bring back the lucrative movie for another round. Ed’s become a totally chilled-out guy these days and even does yoga in his spare time, but Brad’s at least got him on board for talks.”"
While nothing has been confirmed, Fight Club fans are already excited about the possibility of Brad Pitt revisiting the character of Tyler Durden. As of now, it appears the sequel hopes lie in the hands of Edward Norton.
