After over a decade of Tom Coughlin running the show, the New York Giants are heading into a new era under new head coach Ben McAdoo. The good news is that he has been with the Giants for a while now and the team should have a pretty smooth transition as a team going forward.

The Giants had a disappointing year last year and while they have superstars at multiple spots, they are hoping the money they spent in free agency and their draft class can give them a shot at a very winnable NFC East crown.

There is plenty of talent on the defensive side of the ball and if the Giants are going to make noise in the NFC, that’s where it has to start and finish. The unit has young talent and plenty of high-profile players, but they need to get a lot better for the team to compete.

The road to the playoffs starts at training camp for the Giants and the team will officially begin training camp on July 28, when players report. The first practice will be the very next day.
