Johnny Manziel is out of the NFL and his career may be over, but the former Texas A&M quarterback says he wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys.

Johnny Manziel used to be the face of football. Whether pro or college, “Johnny Football” was once the biggest name in the sport, after becoming a sensation as quarterback of the Texas A&M Aggies. Since college, Manziel has become a cautionary tale after his off-field issues have derailed what could have been a promising NFL career.

He is unemployed and facing a suspension by the NFL which doesn’t make him an attractive option, but Manziel has his sights on America’s Team.

Manziel was approached as he left a club (shocker), and he told paparazzi that he would like to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Take a look at “Money Manziel” below talking it up to the camera.

Of course, Manziel wants to play for Jerry Jones, who was enamored with him during his time at Texas A&M. Jones almost made a play for the quarterback during the 2014 NFL Draft, but Manziel ended up going to the Cleveland Browns.

Since that day, Manziel has been on a downward spiral, which began slow, but has now gotten out of control. However, through it all, he has stated that he wants to return to the National Football League and that he plans on being a successful quarterback once again.

The Cowboys have a penchant for giving people another chance, but Manziel may never be mature enough to even warrant another shot in the NFL. As the Manziel debacle continues to unravel, the only hope is that the 23-year old finally gets some help.
