Rickie Fowler took heat during the 2016 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies for an unfortunate hairstyle.

The 2016 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies have brought plenty of attention to Team USA as the games in Rio officially open on Friday night. Unfortunately for star golfer Rickie Fowler that attention has not been positive as he has been roasted on Twitter for an unfortunate bad hair day on the world stage.

Fowler’s hairstyle created plenty of buzz as the jokes were flying surrounding the haircut of a golfer who is usually spotted wearing a hat when he is on the PGA Tour, which is lucky for Fowler, because the internet decided to get mean when talking about his hair on Friday night.

Fowler is taking heat right now, but his career earnings will give him the last laugh as he is one of the richer Olympians on Team USA as one of the best golfers in the world. All of that money can’t hide Fowler from getting roasted for a haircut he probably wishes he could have back as the entire country took the chance to laugh at him during the Opening Ceremonies.

As one of the favorites for the Gold in the golf competition, Fowler could still have the last laugh at the end of the Rio games with a chance to win.
