Olympics Men’s Basketball: Croatia vs Spain

Without question, Croatia and Spain are two of the best teams competing in Olympics men’s basketball at Rio 2016. What’s interesting, though, is how both of these teams have gotten to this point and the makeup of each roster. Needless to say, Croatia vs Spain in Olympics men’s basketball on Sunday will be two different worlds of international hoops colliding.

Spain, as most people already know, has been a contender in all international competitions for quite some time. With NBA players such as Ricky Rubio, Paul Gasol, Nikola Mirotic, and others in addition to the likes of Sergio Llull and Rudy Fernandez, Spain is always going to be one of the favorites to land a spot on the podium if not also challenge for the gold medal.

Croatia on the other hand is a young, up-and-coming group that boasts the likes of Dario Saric, Mario Hezonja, and Bojan Bogdanovic. Though they may not have the same experience as Spain, they’ll have the talent to compete at the highest level and could make some noise in Rio.
