WWE superstars respond to Conor McGregor’s comments

Conor McGregor basically called the entire WWE roster soft, so many wrestlers have been responding in fantastic ways to the UFC featherweight champion

Never one to bite his tongue, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor had some choice words about WWE recently as he called out Brock Lesnar for doping and then proceeded to call almost the entirety of the WWE roster a strong expletive.

After making those comments regarding Lesnar and WWE, Conor doubled down to make sure everyone got the point as he sent out this tweet:

As you’d expect, that didn’t sit too well with WWE superstars, both current and former. Rather than just sit back and let the UFC featherweight champion run his mouth like that, though, the wrestlers started taking shots of their own.

Here’s a look at what WWE superstars had to say in response to Conor McGregor:

As great of a fighter as Conor McGregor is, he truly might want to check himself before he comes at some of these WWE superstars as they’re not exactly inexperienced in legitimate physical contests.

However, this is so clearly a work that it’s almost laughable. Whether it’s in a few weeks, in a few months, next year, or just somewhere down the road, McGregor is setting himself up for what will be an enormously important appearance within WWE—something he’s teased before.

If the wait means more comments and responses like this, let’s hope that McGregor, WWE, and these wrestlers continue to drag it out for a little while longer.
