Tom Brady says his favorite Olympic moment was watching his wife, Gisele Bundchen, strut down the runway at the Opening Ceremonies.

There have been many memorable moments during the 2016 Rio Olympics. Katie Ledecky taking the world by storm and leaving her opponents in a meters-long wake. Michael Phelps going out on top and proving age ain’t nothing but a number. Usain Bolt’s unforgettable 100m dash and unprecedented third straight Olympic gold. America’s women’s gymnastics setting a new, seemingly unreachable bar.

As for New England Patriots (suspended) quarterback Tom Brady, his favorite moment happened during the Opening Ceremonies a week ago Saturday. No, not Michael Phelps-as-American-flag-bearer. Not the lighting of the Olympic torch. Not even everyone’s favorite baby-oiled Tongan.

A runway strut. As in a fashion runway. So what if the one on the catwalk was Brady’s wife, the superstar model Gisele Bundchen?

“It was amazing to see her out there and do that,” Brady recently told NESN. “It was the best part of the Olympics for me. And it got over on opening night, so there hasn’t been much reason for me to watch outside of seeing her represent her country. She’s an amazing woman, an amazing mother, and she represents the best of Brazil as far as I’m concerned. So, it was an amazing spectacle, and she’s an amazing person.”

To be fair to Brady, that was a pretty incredible moment. Bundchen had recently retired, so her strut down the Olympic Stadium runway was likely to be her last. Bundchen is originally from Brazil, after all, and is arguably one of the most popular and recognizable faces in the history of fashion.

The good news is Brady should have plenty of time to go back and catch up on the actual Olympics, why with that pesky four-game suspension and all. (For something called Deflategate. I know — never heard of it, either).
