College football will absolutely see a handful of teams improve on last year’s results. Here are 10 Power 5 teams poised to be better on the field in 2016.

College football is less than two weeks away, as the 2016 NCAA regular season has its first full weekend of college football action on Labor Day Weekend. The opening weekend’s slate is chock full of exciting neutral sites games against Power 5 teams in the non-conference including Alabama vs. USC in Dallas, North Carolina vs. Georgia in Atlanta, and Ole Miss vs. Florida State in Orlando.

Teams like the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Clemson Tigers, and the Oklahoma Sooners are expected to have great years on the gridiron, hoping to build on last season’s trips to the second annual College Football Playoff.

While those football behemoths should have themselves championship-caliber seasons in 2016, are there any other programs poised to have great years in their own right?
