Seth Rollins will get his rematch against Kevin Owens and another shot at the Universal Championship at WWE Clash of Champions

Kevin Owens shocked the world last week on WWE RAW in the main event. With the help of Triple H, Owens won the Fatal 4-Way to determine the WWE Universal Champion. KO pinned Seth Rollins after the COO of the company hit an unsuspecting Rollins with a Pedigree. It was one of the most shocking moments in quite some time. However, things escalated even further to start the Sept. 5 episode of RAW. In fact, they escalated to the point of having WWE Clash of Champions implications.

The show began with Owens out in the ring with Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon to celebrate his win. However, that was short-lived when a livid Rollins came to the ring. The former Architect of The Shield wasn’t in the mood to do anything but get retribution. So when Owens opened his mouth, Rollins attacked him. Because of that, Stephanie was set to suspend him and said as much. However, the general manager of RAW in Foley interjected.

Foley said that he was in the business of giving rematches, not suspensions. Thus, he said that Rollins would get another shot at the Universal title. The GM then announced the main event for WWE Clash of Champions as it’ll be Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins:

If there’s one thing we can’t deny now, it’s that Rollins is now a face within WWE. Moreover, this main event should be absolutely fantastic at the RAW-brand pay-per-view.

Not only are these two guys immaculate in-ring workers, but now there’s a great story involved. Plus, you have to wonder if Triple H will be making another appearance and/or attack on Rollins at the show. Either way, this main event is more than enough reason to tune in.
