It’s not being reported that Paige has not only quit WWE, but has also hired a lawyer in the process

Lately, there has been a lot of talk surrounding WWE and one of their most well-known women performers, Paige. She’s currently serving a 30-day suspension for a Wellness Policy violation, but now there’s word that she will be gone longer than 30 days from the company — as in maybe forever.

According to a report from Front Row Brian, Paige actually quit the company this past week. And the make the situation that much stickier, she has also hired a lawyer, as her contract extends for quite a long time.

Well, this seems to have escalated rather quickly lately.

Paige burst onto the scene two years ago when she was not only called up to the main roster from NXT the night after WrestleMania, but she won the Diva’s title on that first night. It was one of the more shocking moments in the company that year, and it signaled some great things to come in the future for the bright young star.

Again, though, lately the relationship between her and the company reportedly hasn’t been the best its ever been. Mainly, the company was said to be quite displeased with romantic relationship that she has formed with another currently suspended star, Alberto Del Rio. Coincidentally, he’s not expected to return to the company after his suspension either, but the difference is, his contract is running out soon.

Really, all things considered, if this is the way that Paige’s WWE career ends for the foreseeable future, it’s a really sad happening. She truly had a great future in her sights, and now, she seems prepared to go to legal battle with the company that made her a huge star.

And of course, we know that people who go after WWE legally aren’t all too successful oftentimes.
