Now this should be a good one. As part of the Week 2 NFL slate, the Green Bay Packers will travel to take on the Minnesota Vikings. This matchup between NFC North powers will be the first regular season game in the Vikings’ brand new U.S. Bank Stadium.

Between the new home and the rivalry, this game scored the prime Sunday Night Football spot for Week 2.

These two teams both enter this game with a 1-0 record. The Packers battled a tough Jacksonville Jaguars squad hard, and came away with a 27-23 victory. Aaron Rodgers looked as great as usual and appears primed to lead the Packers to success again in 2016.

Without starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the Vikings also started their season off right. Led by two defensive touchdowns, the Vikings won 25-16 on the road against the Tennessee Titans.

Shaun Hill played well in relief of Bridgewater, but the Vikings did not give up a first round pick for Sam Bradford for no reason. Bradford will be the team’s starting quarterback sooner rather than later.

With all due respect to the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, these two teams are the obvious favorites in the NFC North this season. It is only Week 1, but this could easily be an important game when it comes to postseason implications later in the season.

Like all Sunday Night Football games, the Packers and Vikings will play on NBC for Week 2. However, NBC also gives us an online streaming option for the technologically inclined.
